Opening our "house"
This weekend marks our second annual Open House.
Can we even call it annual when it’s only number 2?
However you think of it, we’re opening our doors Sunday afternoon from 2-4 to showcase some of our new thoughts – some new ideas, offerings, packages …. In other words, new ways for us to connect with you.
We are dedicated to helping you live your best life.
Here’s what’s new …
Packages
For the first time ever, we’re offering packages that will help diverse groups of people who are at particular risk for marital stress and strain. We now have special plans for various life transitions, including ones for those who are expecting a baby, building a new home, and facing an empty nest. In our experience, these are times that are difficult for most couples. We know how you can walk through them with grace and love, and we want to help you do so.
Groups
The therapists at Sanctuary Christian Counseling will be offering two new groups in the fall, both designed to help a specific and under-served group of people. Susan will be facilitating The Hope Group for those women whose male partner struggles with sexual issues. Andrea will be offering Building Beautiful to help adolescent girls cope with today’s difficult culture with a positive self-esteem. Speaking
We have been working hard on this, and now the therapists at Sanctuary Christian Counseling are available to talk to your church or other group on many health and life topics, including our signature talk (with all three of us) “Relationships Hijacked.” Consider us for your upcoming event!
Sanctuary Sidebar
Every month, Sanctuary Sidebar will be delivered to your inbox … but it will NOT be the kind of thing that will take you 10 minutes to read or which will not be relevant to your life. Instead, we’ll be sending you ONE idea, ONE paragraph, that you can use right away. We may also tell you ONE more thing about us, but there will probably be months we won’t, too. We want to help you grow, ONE small step at a time. A few more things ….
In addition to the changes to our therapy offerings, we’re also changing our look a bit. Now, when you come to Sanctuary Christian Counseling, you’ll be greeted by our new, warm and inviting Waiting Room, featuring coffee, tea and water, plus softer lighting and light music … we’re trying to make the whole experience much better for everyone. You’ll be able to see most of the changes at the Open House, so come check us out!

The celebration takes place on Sunday, May 6, from 2-4 p.m. at our offices, 9974 Molly Pitcher Highway, Shippensburg. That’s in the West End Office Complex, across from the Pizza Hut on Rt. 11 on the South side of Shippensburg.
